Description
Tap dance in Spring is on a 46cms x 46cms canvas. Painted in acrylics with a number of glazes to try and capture the depth of grasses with a very simple cobolt blue streaky sky. I was trying to capture a fresh morning in late Spring with Summer just around the corner. You’re walking up the top of a meadow and all you can see is a big clear sky with meadows sprinkled with buttercups.
Painted simply as trying to create the feel and emotion as opposed to capturing the detail of the flowers and grasses. I actually used grasses to paint the wispy grasses in the sky!
