The Tube seeks new swish home

The Tube sitting at the Gallery

The Tube is 80cms x 80cms and is created from an original artwork where I’ve painted and mixed inks between layers of a non-toxic pouring medium (a bit like resin).  Each layer takes months to cure with the finish result looking slightly 3D and it sparkles and shimmers in the light.  To create a large piece of art, I’ve had the painting photographed at the Imaging Studio, printed on a special metallic and then had it face-mounted.

The finished piece looks great and really contemporary and would look stunning on a white or perhaps chocolate brown or black wall — and would look great at a beach house, contemporary apartment, a swish hotel.

The Tube is for sale as a limited edition of 25.

Snowdrops

snowdrops

Snowdrops is 21cms x 56cms and painted on 640gsm watercolour paper.  Painted entirely with watercolour paints as I usually use lots of other mediums but have kept the painting simple.  I was trying to capture snowdrops at St. Elli Parish Church in Llanelli for Dad.  Hope you enjoy – now to find a frame!

Happy Christmas

susan felt

a little late but hope you are enjoying Christmas and here’s to a bright, healthy and happy New Year….. also the base of this flower arrangement is made by my lovely and clever arty sister Sue – she’s hand felted the base and wired it – very cool xxx

Tropical close up

A close up of Tropical who as from Sunday 13th has a new home.   Tropical is part of the little BIG garden collection.  I loved painting this and have used impasto technique for the leaves and the flowers I used a watercolour ground to give them a very different effect and to top some of the flowers, I’ve added black lava and 23karat gold leaf.

Painted on a natural linen canvas using various techniques with acrylic, watercolours, iridescent inks, black lava and gold leaf.  It’s quite a striking painting and sort of glows at the top when the light catches it.  It’s 91.5cms x 91.5cms

Arty Tote Bags at Breathing Colours Art Gallery

Window of Breathing Colours Art Gallery in Balmain, NSW, Australia — showing Sunkissed on canvas and my Arty Tote Bags.

I’ve got 4 little garden Arty Tote Bags (41csms) and 2 larger ones (46cms) in blue which are taken from The Tube and Sunkissed and would make great beach bags.

Arty Tote Bags

Just sharing the little garden Arty Tote Bags, which have just arrived.  These ones are 41cms x 41cms but we’ll be experimenting with bigger and smaller ones too. Need to sort the logo out and tweek a few things but once that’s done, we’ll be selling them online from the site (toes crossed)!  The arty bags are created from original paintings from the little big garden collection of art.

Working on Art Bags, which will be on show at the Art Exhibition in September

I’ve been working on creating Art products and am pretty excited as awaiting a delivery of Art Tote Bags, which will be on show at my upcoming Art Exhibition at Breathing Colours Gallery, Balmain Australia.

The Tote Bags are of some of my art from the Little Gardens and Amongst The Waves collections.

You’ll also be able to purchase some original paintings and giclée limited edition prints from the website soon.

Happy days…
