Summer Hills

Painted with inks and a pouring medium on a round substrate made of aluminium with a birchwood edge. Really interesting painting on aluminium as it adds to the translucency of the layers and I’ve left some of the surface showing through in the sky. It’s 40cm in diameter and ready to hang and I’ve also applied an art resin coat which makes it waterproof and tough — possibly could use as a top to a little round table!? Anyways it will be at the launch of Hills & Valleys at our stiwdio on Gilwern Hill May Bank Holiday so if you’re in the area please come and say hello x
