Description
The brief was to create a large painting that fitted with a rather masculine room with lots of black leather furniture and somehow bring a touch of femininity and some colour into the space. They love nature and also the colours orange and red. So I thought magestic gum trees would work well sitting on top of a mountain.
It’s a reasonably large painting 140cm x 75cm, mixed media on canvas working with oils, acrylics, inks and iridescent paint to capture light. The trees sort of glow as the light changes during the day.
