Grasses from my walks SOLD

Grasses burnt into wood on a 20cm square plaque.  These are grasses I collected from my walks in the hills of the Brecon Beacon national park in South Wales. I have to say we’re very lucky where we live.  I’ve been working on a number of these small plaques trying to capture seedheads by using the pyrography technique of burning into wood and I’ve also used little bits of varigated gold & copper leaf so they catch the light.   You could have as a collection of seedheads or just have the one and you can hang directly on the wall or they do look nice in box frames or on a mini easle on the sideboard.  Very versatile 😉
